Yellowstone Season 5 Plot
Yellowstone Season 4 ends with Beth snooping on Jamie, who is disposing of Garrett’s body at the train station, and he finds himself in a predicament. She snaps a few pictures of him and scuttles his political aspirations. What will happen to Christina and their kid, who is concerned about Garrett’s location, when they learn the truth about these images in Yellowstone Season 5?
Once again Beth is out of a job and her father’s campaign manager is a possibility now that she’s out of work. Fans are also wondering if Carter can reclaim Beth’s confidence and if Walker will ever be able to leave the Yellowstone ranch. A new season is expected to solve all of these riddles.

Notables include the return of actor Jefferson White as Jimmy Hurdstrom and the addition of actress Kathryn Kelly as head vet technician Emily. Viewers of Yellowstone will recall Jimmy’s heartbreaking farewell before returning to the 6666 ranch with his fiancee. Despite speculation that Jefferson would no longer appear on the show since he would be the protagonist of the spinoff 6666, it appears that he will continue to do so.
In addition, seven additional actors have been revealed as joining the cast. Mo Brings Plenty (a.k.a. Mo) and Wendy Moniz (a.k.a. Governor Lynelle Perry) will now join the cast as series regulars, having previously served in recurring roles. In addition, we’ll meet four new characters that will appear throughout the season:
- Clara Brewer, played by Lilli Kay
- Dawn Olivieri plays Sarah Atwood
- Rowdy Kai Caster
- Abby played by Lainey Wilson
However, there’s more to come! For the first time since the year 2020, Kylie Rogers (Young Beth Dutton) and Kyle Red Silverstein (Young Rip Wheeler) will return to the screen, as will Jacki Weaver (Caroline Warner). The best news, though, is that Josh Lucas will reprise his role as Young John Dutton.
